Adventures in the North

I have a fascination with extremes, both in music and in everyday life.

When I reached the end of my BMus in 2018 I needed to experience something new, so naturally I went to the extreme north; Svalbard is just about as far north as a civilian can go.

The next year, I went north again - this time to Alaska, with Composing in the Wilderness.

These experiences have shaped my music more than I ever could have expected.
