Why Should We Not Burn It All Down?

Commissioned by Tŷ Cerdd for the online National Eisteddfod 2020’s #EncoreUnawd project.
During the 1916 National Eisteddfod in Aberystwyth David Lloyd George gave an impassioned speech, "Why should we not sing?" in response to criticism surrounding holding the Eisteddfod during the Great War.
While no longer involved in a global conflict, we are currently facing a global pandemic with the "support" of a government that breaks its own laws, changes policies on the fly to avoid admitting their faults, lies about testing capacity/PPE shortages/the effectiveness of masks, ignores the devastated freelance arts industry, has spent millions of pounds to develop a tracking app that doesn't work, has turned its back on the NHS workers putting themselves at risk to help others, and generally seems to be handling the whole situation less than spectacularly. With leadership so incompetent at best, malicious at worst, it makes one wonder - would Wales really be worse off without Westminster?
Why should we not burn it all down?
For legal purposes I must clarify I am speaking metaphorically.
